Day Camp Volunteer Training
Adult Volunteer Sign-In: 8:30
Adult Volunteer Training: 8:45 - 10:00
Den Chief/Aides Training: 10:00 - 10:30
Mandatory training for adult volunteers and Den Chief/Aides planning to participate in Day Camp.
NOTE: Please continue to check this schedule as the date may change as a result of the impact of this winter's snow storms effecting the LDS' calander.
Day Camp Volunteer Training - Express Training
Mandatory training for adult volunteers planning to participate in Day Camp. This is an express training offering for adult volunteers only.
Den Chief/Aide training will NOT be offered at Roundtable.
If you cannot attend this event, we plan to offer another training event on Saturday, May 15th. (Note that this date may change due to schedule changes resulting from this winter's storms).

Life to Eagle Orientation
Registration: Pre-registration required.

The Life to Eagle Orientation consists of two distinct meetings held simultaneously. The first focuses on providing guidance to Scouts who achieved the rank of Life as they embark upon the last leg of their journey to the rank of Eagle. The other meeting targets the Advancement Chairs, Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Committee Members, Merit Badge Counselors, and parents and discusses the roles, responsibilities, and expectations of each while working with the Scouts through the process.
District Recognition Dinner

We will gather to celebrate the outstanding contributions of ALL adult leaders in Carroll County and to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of scouting at the annual Carroll District Recognition Dinner. This is a night set aside to honor and thank every leader for the countless hours and numerous projects and activities that you have spent working with and guiding our scouts. This means YOU! A fantastic, fire roasted pit beef dinner will be served starting at 6 PM followed by homemade baked goods for dessert!
Scouter of the Year Nominations
Carroll District Scouter of the Year Award nominations accepted now until May 11, 2010.
The award recognizes the outstanding accomplishments, achievements or service by a Scouter to a Scout unit over the past year.

Session will discuss the role of the Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster in a boy led Troop. Other topics include Scout Advancement Program, Outdoor Program, Troop Planning and working with the Troop Committee.

Centennial Merit Badges
BSA has announced a special program in honor of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the BSA, which includes the reintroduction, for ONE YEAR ONLY, of four Historical Merit Badges - Carpentry, Pathfinding, Signaling, and Tracking.
OA Fellowship Day/Picnic - Teepee Setup

ATTENTION ALL CARROLL CHAPTER ARROWMEN
We will be be having a Fellowship Day/Picnic and getting our Teepees out and setting them up to make sure everything is okay before we put them up at Spring Camporee. We will also be having a brotherhood conversion opportunity. The day will conclude with a BBQ. The menu has not been finalized but the Officers are looking at having BBQ Ribs, potato salad, coleslaw, sodas and dessert.
If you would like to learn how to set up a teepee, convert to brotherhood or have any questions about the OA please come by. We know most people have many questions about the OA after they have completed their Ordeal. This is a great opportunity to have those questions answered and have a day full of Fun, Fellowship and Food.
