Carroll District serves over 2,000 youth members with the help of more than 1,200 adult volunteers and is chartered through Baltimore Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. These youth members belong to 73 individual units located throughout Carroll County. The units include Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops and Venturing Crews sponsored by local civic organizations (churches, fire houses, PTA’s, service organizations, etc.).

Camping, activities, fundraising, community service, recruitment, training, public relations, advancement are examples of the endless procession of events and activities that take place throughout the year. These fun events and activities promote leadership and character building - fundamentals of the Boy Scout program.

We are continuously thankful for all the volunteers and the support from the community which make the Boy Scout program so successful in Carroll County.
