Do you believe in Scouting?

The obvious answer is yes; otherwise you would not be a volunteer. But, do you really believe in scouting? Do you believe that every boy should have the opportunity to try out scouting?  If the answer is no then go back to whatever you were doing. If the answer is yes then please consider how your unit can make contact with every and any available young man who might benefit from the major elements of scouting: the outdoor program, character development, personal advancement and recognition as well as patriotism and fitness.

The Carroll District will sponsor a weekend “Shouting for Scouting Expo” August 28 (10 am to 4 pm) and August 29 (noon to 4 pm) at the Town Mall of Westminster .

This indoor activity will be similar to last year but bigger and better because we are a year smarter and this is our 100th Anniversary and of course because we really believe in scouting!

This is not only an opportunity to recruit our youngest scouts but to make contact with those young men who may have missed their invitation a year or two ago. It is never too late to enroll. Young ladies in high school are also welcomed to learn about opportunities offered by Venturing and career oriented posts.
